I am a 46 year old fairly new believer. I got saved 3 year ago. I am a recovering alcoholic, and ahve been sober almost two years now. My life for a very long time was based on keeping up with the Jones, and " when I finally get that I will be happy" mentality. Now that I know and trust our Lord with my life things have never been better. I have a wonderful wife and children, a beautiful home and not terribly in debt. I have a fantasctic church family ,which I am one of the worship team members. in the musical department. That is RIVER CITY COMMUNITY CHURCH, here in San antonio Texas. All I have to say is stop trying to do everything yourself and let God drive he knows the way better than you or I. One thing that drives me crazy is to see those bummber stickers that say God is my co-pilot. I think he should be there captain!! I could not agree more! I am a 46 year old fairly new believer.
