What a wonderful feeling it is to know that we are forgiven to know that we are a new person and everything else in our lives can be forgotten. But there are things in our lives that we can forgive but never forget. I am just glad that my Lord is always there when I call out to him. That the more I draw closer to Him the more joy there is in my life and I have the certainty that one day I too will be able to forget just like God forgets our sins.
God bless you Bro. Tim for reminding us that we are a new person not just a sprayed to smell like one.

Thanks Darlene for the affirmation. We can't afford to lose sight of the fact that God's forgiveness is always there.

Grace and peace,
Tim

Thank you, Tim. I like your super analogy! As a sister in Christ, I know what it is to rejoice with the promise that Jesus's blood continues to purify me from all my sin. I have been a Christian for 30 years, during which time I have fallen short of God's glory many times.... Without this hope of continual forgiveness as I walk in the light, I would be distraught and depressed, but as it is, I am constantly encouraged to press on toward the prize, which I will receive at the final resurrection.
