We do not have a record of everything Jesus did.  So  the events that were preserved are significant.  There is a reason for what was inspired and preserved by the Holy Spirit.  So pay attention.

It is easy to overlook our sin by saying we are not as bad as someone else.  Like Hoshea in this verse.  But he was still evil.  If you want to compare, look at Jesus . He is the standard.
